How we use the customer's personal information

Depending on how the User interacts with us and which Services they use, we may use their personal information for the following purposes:

  • Providing, tailoring, and improving the Services. We use the User's personal information to provide the Services, including to perform the contract concluded with the User, process payments, fulfill orders, remember preferences and products the User is interested in, send notifications related to the User's account, process purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, create, maintain, and manage the User's account, arrange shipping, facilitate returns and exchanges, enable the posting of reviews, and create a personalized shopping experience, for example by recommending products related to the User's previous purchases. This may include using the customer's personal information to personalize and improve the Services.
  • Marketing and advertising. We may use the User's personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by e-mail, text message, or postal mail, and to show the User online advertisements promoting products or services on our Services or on other websites, including based on items the User has purchased or added to the cart or other activity of the User on the Services.
  • Security and fraud prevention. We use the User's personal information to authenticate their account, provide secure payments and purchases, detect and investigate potentially fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity and take appropriate steps to combat it, and to protect public safety and secure our services. Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about the User's access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information provided within the Services will be transferred to and made available to Shopify, as well as to third parties that may be located in countries other than the User's country of residence, in order to provide services to the User. In addition, to secure, develop, and improve our business, we use certain advanced Shopify features that incorporate data and information obtained from the User's interactions with our Store, with other merchants, and with the Shopify platform. To provide the User with these advanced features, Shopify may use personal information collected during the User's interactions with our Store, with other merchants, and with the Shopify platform. In such circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing the User's personal information, including responding to their requests to exercise their rights in connection with the use of the User's personal information for these purposes. Security and retention of the User's data

Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” In addition, any information transmitted to us may not be secure while in transit. We discourage the use of insecure channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.

How long we retain the User's personal information depends on various factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain the User's account, to provide the Services to the User, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce other applicable contracts and policies.

The User's rights and choices

Depending on where the User lives, they may have some or all of the following rights in relation to their personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and, in some cases, we may decline the User's request to the extent permitted by law.

  • Objection to processing and restriction of processing: The User has the right to ask us to stop or restrict the processing of their personal information for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on the User's consent to process their personal information, the User has the right to withdraw that consent. In accordance with applicable laws, the User may authorize an agent to make requests on their behalf to exercise their rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require proof that the agent has been authorized by the User to act on their behalf, and we may ask the User to verify their identity directly with us. We will respond to the User's request within the time frame required by applicable law.
